Today, Macnica DHW's sister company, Altima announced development of Cyclone V SoC Base Board which is loaded with Altera's innovative product, 28nm Cyclone^® V SoC FPGA.

Cyclone V SoC FPGA integrates an ARM-based processor system consisting of processor, peripherals, and memory interfaces along with the FPGA fabric. This is an innovative device that will target not only existing FPGA users but also users of CPU or DSP-based products. Therefore, our board concept is to have an easy and quick customer experience with the SoC FPGA technology.

To achieve this, Altima offers low cost and user-friendly development kit. Altima also offers some reference designs to use the board peripherals. These reference designs will help users reduce human resource and evaluation period for the SoC FPGA techonology.
